Meeting on the third Wednesday from September to May for normal lodge meetings, with the lodge installation being held in January.
The Lodge Social Committee also plans and manages various social and activity orientated events to suit all who attend, with the aim of raising money for charity.
Prearranged visitors are always most welcome, as are expressions of interest from prospective members.
Freemasonry has been in Doncaster since 1770, with Don Valley Lodge being formed in 1919, after the First World War, when there was a surge in membership. Don Valley Lodge commits itself to the principles of freemasonry, freemasonry being a charity orientated membership organisation, who gives national over £40m a year to good causes.
In January 2019, the lodge celebrated it centenary, with over 100 people in attendance, which was held at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, Doncaster. Don Valley Lodge is the home of a small, friendly and charity orientated Lodge.
Don Valley Lodge, like all other lodges, prides itself on fundraising for charity, which it achieves through social events and personal giving throughout the year, not to mention individuals giving up their personal time and skills, whenever practical and called upon within the community.
